Inside this Issue
This inaugural publication of Elkhart County Living — a locally generated lifestyle magazine — will look at the part of Indiana we call home.
Elkhart County and northern Kosciusko County are unique for many reasons. There are natural wonders in this geographic area, including lakes, rivers and other waterways and an interesting blend of rural and urban developments.
The area is centrally located between two larger cities – South Bend and Fort Wayne – and is close to the Indiana Toll Road, a transportation corridor which provides a convenient connection to Chicago.
However, the residents make this a special place to live. The recreational vehicle manufacturing industry is prominent in Elkhart County, but successful business executives have also helped create a reputation for philanthropy and charitable endeavors. The efforts of countless volunteers also improve the area’s quality of life.
Elkhart County Living will not detail the nuts and bolts of the region. Hard news and TV schedules will not be included in this publication. Rather, the colorful magazine will provide readable content about the region's lifestyle.
Food, fashion, shopping, health, home tips, executive profiles and entertainment are among the topics to be featured. The bimonthly magazine will include high-quality, full-color photos to illustrate articles, and attention will be given to producing an easy-reading publication.
This magazine is available at many locations in the area selling magazines, or it can be purchased by a mail-order subscription.
Readers are invited to communicate with us about life in our neck of the woods, and to identify stories that are waiting to be told. Tips and comments may be e-mailed to news@maplecitymedia. com or mailed to Elkhart County Living, P.O. Box 569, Goshen, IN 46527.
But it’s time now to sit back and enjoy living.
